REGISTRATION

To secure your spot at the International Conference on Borneo Sustainability (ICBS 2025), please follow these two simple steps:

• STEP 1: Register & Pay

• STEP 2: Submit Registration Details

IMPORTANT:
• All Participants must register by 5 SEPT 2025.
• All accepted abstract and poster' authors must register by 5 SEPT 2025. Unregistered papers will be excluded from the conference and will not be submitted for publication in the conference proceedings.
• Failure to present your paper without prior notification will also result in exclusion from publication.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT – REGISTER BY 15 AUGUST 2025!

• All cancellations must be notified via email to the Conference Secretariat at icbsborneo@ums.edu.my.
• Take advantage of the Early Bird Discount by completing your payment and registration on or before 15 August 2025.
• Secure your spot early and enjoy reduced fees!

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Banking charges must be borne by the registrant.
2. Cancellations made on or before 15 August 2025 will incur a 50% cancellation fee, and all bank charges are non-refundable.
3. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows after 15 August 2025

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

The Conference Organizer will not be responsible for failure to attend the conference due to visa denials, health emergencies, travel disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, the registration fee will not be refunded.

NO-SHOW POLICY

Please take note that ICBS 2025 has a strict policy on No-Show. Therefore, if your abstract/poster/paper is accepted, one of the authors OR their representatives MUST PRESENT their abstract/poster/paper at the conference. Papers/Abstracts/Posters with no show participants without a valid reason will not be submitted to be included in Conference Proceedings. NO REFUND of the paid fees may be claimed by the no show author.

TRAVEL ADVICE

We kindly advise non-Malaysian participants who plan to attend the conference in person to consult their respective travel advisories and local authorities for the latest entry requirements and travel guidelines to Sabah, Malaysia.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Visa requirements
• Vaccination protocols
• Health declarations or travel insurance
• Any local regulations or restrictions
Please ensure that all necessary travel documents and approvals are obtained prior to departure to facilitate a smooth and safe journey.
